| This report reflects a recognition that housing plays a crucial role in community health and wellbeing and that councils play and important role in shaping housing outcomes at a community level. It grew out of the first Local Central Government Forum at which representatives of central and local government made a commitment to work collaboratively in a number of priority areas.
